Way better than initially thought. Hanamaru Youchien is the anime of little pre-schoolers and their big daily adventures, discoveries and whatnot in particular the trio - Anzu-chan, Koume-chan and Hii-chan.

A slice-of-life series that is cute, innocent and hilarious sorta like a Kodomo no Jikan minus the ecchi and ero-ness. Had my doubts about this show due to the potemayo-styled chibi children as well as the whole kindergarten premise.

But it was well worth it to have checked it out. This show is one of those rare ordinary settings but still manages to impress without the need for extraordinary additives, plots and the like.
